Rebranding an independent
e-bike company in Belgium
Brief
ASKA, one of Belgium's leading independent e-bike manufacturer approached me to give the company and brand a boost of marketing and branding to capture new customers in an already saturated market.
Being proudly Belgian and also independent was the key insight going forward after interviews with the core team and investors.
Approach
The creative approach defined the key brand essence - DNA - of the ASKA brand, where the stubbornness and ambition of the small, bike-loving team set the brand narrative - GO YOUR OWN WAY - which reflects the millisecond decisions that you also make when riding a bike. The directional decisions are your own, made only when outside influences force you to change direction.
Outcome
A brand an sales communication campaign was developed based on the 5 key benefits of owning an ASKA bike. Delivered to the client on my brandbite.io platform, the team are still in the process of implementing the campaign - but are using the brand narrative on their bikes.
